Raises an interesting question that I've touched on before: if the UV effect is a product of humanlikeness, is the eeriness that this dog provokes the same thing, or something else? In a broader sense, does the UV effect happen when any member of category X is almost but not quite X? And therefore, are we looking at something just a simple as a reaction to a glitch in categorisation?
